Merry Cellars

Merry Cellars is one of the finest stops for wine connoisseurs and wine novices alike in all of the Palouse. There are many things to discover at Merry Cellars, with their deliciously hand-crafted wine being only just the beginning. However, Merry Cellars is also steeped in a rich history that showcases the very spirit of the Palouse, incorporating the values of hard work, dedication, and an absolute passion for success.

“It was there that Patrick first tried his hand at winemaking. In the beginning, it was [a] hobby that relied on the labor of friends and neighbors to help process the fruit and bottle the end product. Within a few short years, his “hobby” quickly became something more substantial and, with the encouragement of others and the incredible support of his family, Patrick launched Merry Cellars in 2004.”

Merry Cellars is constantly working on rolling out new wines to suit the widest array of interests, and has produced many high quality wines in the past. Below are just a couple of Merry Cellars’ most recent releases.

Vint Name Description
2012 Sauvignon Blanc One of the hottest, driest grape growing regions in Washington State, the Wahluke slopes sandy loam and deep minerals bring out a character rarely seen in Sauvignon Blanc. Opens with aromas of orange blossom and citrus that set the stage in this dramatic, medium bodied white. Moderate acidity and light notes of grapefruit enliven the finish.
2012 Semillon True to its origin on the steep, well-drained basalt slopes of Stillwater Creek Vineyard, this classic Semillon has been barrel fermented and gracefully aged on the lees. Smooth and polished, hints of mineral and pebble peek through opulent notes of honey and toast that gently meander to a creamy, lingering finish.
